Adam Frost's garden is somewhat of a tranquil haven. The Gardeners' World presenter has lived at his farmhouse in Lincolnshire with his wife Sulina and their three children since 2016.

Adam's three-acre countryside garden includes a beautiful herbaceous border, an insect-friendly wildlife meadow and bricks from his first ever Chelsea Flower Show garden in 2007.

Want to take a peek around his garden? As well as sharing lots of behind-the-scene glimpses over on his Instagram, the presenter has also given fans a video tour of his garden as part of the virtual RHS Chelsea Flower Show.

'Not only is it way past my wildest dreams but it's somewhere to play, somewhere to experiment, and somewhere to share, and for me, that's what gardening is all about,' said Adam.

Take a look around his outdoor space below...

1 The walled garden

The presenter's walled garden is a glorious space, with a sprawling grass area, two small ponds and fruit trees towards the back.

'When we moved here in 2016, this was a garden that had been stripped right back. You imagine that back in the day it was an incredible garden — you can even see the top of the wall, and I wonder whether this was once a real old walled garden with vegetables,' says Adam.

2 Herbaceous border

'I've always wanted a big herbaceous border along that wall,' says Adam. 'It is starting to all come together, bearing in mind it's only two or three years old.'

Speaking about the design of the border, Adam says: 'There is rhythm and repetition but there's also diversity in there, too. Interestingly, when I created the border, it still didn't feel quite wide enough. What I did was develop the border again to make it wider on the left side.'

3 Bricks from Adam's first Chelsea Flower Show Garden

Other highlights from Adam's garden includes bricks from his first-ever Chelsea Flower Show Garden (pictured). 'These were the same bricks that I used in my very first Chelsea Garden, which I think was in 2007.'

Adam also explained that it's a perfect spot to bask in the warmth of the sun. 'At the end of the day you can come here and have a lovely gin and tonic and enjoy.'

4 Wildflower meadow

Wonderfully, Adam's garden has wildlife right at its heart. Discussing his beautiful wildflower meadow, the presenter said: 'I wanted to create a garden that is not just about me and the family, but it's about how we can balance that with wildlife – not just the cats and dogs. The wildlife that comes in our garden is incredible.'

Bursting with variety and colour, the meadow is a haven for bees, butterflies, hedgehogs and insects, too.

6 Seating area made from old logs

'For me, the past few years have been about finding little places just to stop and be. I don't think we do enough of that in our gardens,' explains Adam.

While there are lots of lovely quiet spaces to unwind in his beautiful outdoor space, Adam says one of his favourite spots is a seating area made from old logs. 'These are just a load of old logs I found in the back of the garage that we were going to burn and I made them into seats with a bit of planting around.'

8 Bee-friendly flowers

Adam's garden is jam-packed with vibrant bee-friendly flowers and plants. Head over to the presenter's Instagram and you'll find a plethora of stunning flowers, including tulip sylvestris, roses, eubus arcticus and erythroniums.

9 The vegetable garden
